Paradoxe Virtual Flower, inspired by Prada Paradoxe Virtual Flower (2024)

Bergamot opens it, zesty and slightly leafy. Jasmine follows, but a translucent version that aims at the scent of the flower in the open air, not the heady, indolic jasmine of older white florals. Neroli, distilled from bitter orange blossom, adds a clean, sunny bitterness to the heart. Underneath, musk pairs with ambrette, a seed note with a gentle, faintly fruity muskiness.

About the original

Prada introduced Virtual Flower in mid-2024 as a flanker of Paradoxe, in a light pink version of the refillable Paradoxe bottle. Its centrepiece is a jasmine accord developed with the help of artificial intelligence, listed by one retailer as the Jasmine AI accord. One retailer credits three perfumers: Shyamala Maisondieu, Nadège Le Garlantezec and Antoine Maisondieu. Emma Watson fronted the campaign, photographed by Harley Weir.

Our version

Ours is an independent eau de parfum made to evoke the same character. It is not Prada stock, not an official relaunch and not the original formula.

Who it suits

Launch coverage presented it as a lighter, spring and summer member of the family. Women who like the Paradoxe idea but want something more transparent are the obvious audience. It is sheer by design, which could disappoint someone hoping for a sweet, enveloping floral.
