Paradoxe Intense, inspired by Prada Paradoxe Intense (2023)

Bergamot, neroli bud and a pear accord make a clear, slightly fruity start. Jasmine soon takes the centre, and a moss accord gives it a green, earthy grain that is easy to recognise. The base is amber and vanilla with white musk, and the amber and musk sit more prominently than in the original Paradoxe. Prada describes the result as floral and ambery with woody undertones.

About the original

Prada released Paradoxe Intense in August 2023, a year after the first Paradoxe. Nadège Le Garlantezec, Shyamala Maisondieu and Antoine Maisondieu of Givaudan composed it. It pushes the original's amber and musk further, and it is sold in a refillable bottle.

Our version

Ours is an independent eau de parfum made to evoke the same character. It is not Prada stock, not an official relaunch and not the original formula.

Who it suits

With more amber and musk than Paradoxe, it is the fuller of the two. Wearers who prefer the lighter original may want to compare the two. The moss accord also lends a slight earthiness that not everyone expects from a jasmine scent.

Moderately. Vanilla and amber give sweetness in the base, balanced by neroli and the moss accord.
