Poison is Dior’s iconic 1985 femme fatale oriental, and our version keeps that dense, spicy character, built around the same notes with strong, lasting wear.

The Story Behind the Scent

Edouard Flechier composed Poison for Dior in 1985, and it became one of the most polarising and iconic feminine launches of the 20th century. The brief was a dense spicy oriental for the confident woman of the 1980s, built around coriander, plum and star anise, tuberose, jasmine and cinnamon, and a deep base of vanilla, amber and sandalwood.

Our interpretation rebuilds that dense oriental at 40 percent perfume oil concentration so the spicy opening, the opulent floral heart and the warm ambered base project and last well on skin.
