Queen Of Seduction, inspired by Antonio Banderas Queen of Seduction (2016)

Grapefruit and raspberry give Queen of Seduction a tangy, fruit-forward start, spiked with pink pepper. A water accord, a transparent note that suggests cool, wet air, keeps it from feeling sticky. In the heart, jasmine and peony are joined by iris, which adds a slightly powdery, rooty texture. Sandalwood and amber settle the base, along with a skin accord designed to smell like clean, bare skin.

About the original

Banderas Perfumes launched Queen of Seduction in early 2016 as an Eau de Toilette, announced by Now Smell This in March of that year. It was conceived as the feminine counterpart to King of Seduction, the men's scent from 2014. No perfumer has been publicly named. Launch coverage presented it as a fruity floral.

Our version

Ours is an independent eau de parfum made to evoke the same character. It is not Antonio Banderas (Banderas Perfumes, Puig) stock, not an official relaunch and not the original formula.

Who it suits

Fans of fruity florals who like a little bite will find the grapefruit and pink pepper appealing. The iris and sandalwood give it more shape in the drydown than a purely fruity scent. If raspberry notes strike you as sugary, the opening may feel too playful.

Is Queen of Seduction the women's version of King of Seduction?

Yes. Banderas launched it in 2016 as the feminine counterpart to King of Seduction (2014), which we also make.

Is Queen of Seduction still made?

We have not been able to confirm whether Banderas still produces it.

A blend of musky materials meant to smell like clean, bare skin. In Queen of Seduction it sits in the base with sandalwood and amber.
