Aqua Pour Homme Atlantiq, inspired by Bvlgari Aqva Pour Homme Atlantiqve (2017)

Atlantiqve begins with Sicilian lemon and Calabrian bergamot over a watery accord, with sage adding an aromatic note. An apple facet appears as it settles, green and crunchy. The core is a sea-amber accord built around ambergris, which smells salty, skin-like and faintly sweet. Benzoin, amberwood and vetiver give the drydown a clean, musky warmth that ends up defining the scent more than the citrus does.

About the original

Jacques Cavallier created Atlantiqve in 2017 as a flanker of his own Aqva Pour Homme (2005). Where the original centres on seaweed, Atlantiqve is built around ambergris, so it reads rounder and more ambery. Bvlgari's official product pages for it now redirect, and it no longer appears in the brand's men's range. Fragrance references report it as discontinued.

Our version

Ours is an independent eau de parfum made to evoke the same character. It is not Bvlgari stock, not an official relaunch and not the original formula.

Who it suits

Of the Aqva scents, this one has the fullest, most ambery base. The salty amber feels clean but substantial. For pure, airy freshness, the 2005 Aqva remains the lighter sibling.

Aqva (2005) is built on seaweed and citrus. Atlantiqve adds an ambergris accord and a richer amber-wood base, so it feels fuller.

Is Aqva Atlantiqve discontinued?

It is no longer listed by Bvlgari and is reported as discontinued. There has been no official announcement.
