Aura Intense

Aura Intense, inspired by Swarovski Aura Eau de Parfum Intense (2012)

Rose and lychee give a fruity, rosy opening that turns dark quickly. Incense and pink pepper add smoke and spice, and tuberose lends a creamy white-flower weight. The base is resinous: patchouli, amber and benzoin, a balsam with a vanilla-like sweetness, with white musk underneath. It is a heavy scent that calls for a light hand.

About the original

Swarovski released Aura Intense in 2012 as a stronger version of Aura, its 2011 debut fragrance. Both were made under Swarovski's licence with Clarins Fragrance Group, and fragrance references describe the Intense as a limited perfume. That first Swarovski fragrance line is long gone, and Coty took a new Swarovski licence in December 2024. The original Aura and Aura Love, also from 2012, are separate scents.

Our version

Ours is an independent eau de parfum made to evoke the same character. It is not Swarovski stock, not an official relaunch and not the original formula.

Who it suits

Cold evenings and a wearer already at ease with amber and incense bring out its best. The combination of tuberose, patchouli and resin is rich and smoky, so lovers of light florals will find it overpowering.

Is Swarovski Aura Intense discontinued?

Fragrance databases report it as discontinued, and the Clarins-made Swarovski line it belonged to has ended.

How is it different from the original Swarovski Aura?

It was released as the intense version, with incense, patchouli and amber giving it a darker, more resinous character.

Is it smoky?

Moderately. Incense in the heart and benzoin in the base give it a smoky, balsamic tone.

Is Swarovski Aura Intense coming back?

So far, we have found no announcement from Swarovski that it will return. Our version is an eau de parfum in 50 ml or 100 ml.
