Idole Aura, inspired by Lancôme Idôle Aura Eau de Parfum (2021)

Idôle Aura pairs rose with salt, an unusual combination that gives the flower a mineral, sea-air quality instead of a jammy one. Jasmine brightens the heart. Vanilla and musk come through as it dries, smooth and gently sweet, with the salt still lingering beside them. The overall impression is of sun-touched skin.

About the original

Lancôme launched Idôle Aura in 2021 as the third fragrance in the Idôle line, after Idôle in 2019 and Idôle L'Intense in 2020. It came in the same slim, flat bottle designed by Chafik Gasmi, with Zendaya fronting the campaign. Although presented as a permanent part of the line, it no longer appears in Lancôme's current Idôle range, and major retailers list it as unavailable. Idôle Aura Parfum Lumineuse is a later, separate variant.

Our version

Ours is an independent eau de parfum made to evoke the same character. It is not Lancôme stock, not an official relaunch and not the original formula.

Who it suits

Beach holidays and hot days are where many wearers reach for it. The salt divides opinion, though: some find it refreshing, others read it as soapy.

Grasse rose and a salty accord open it, fresh and slightly mineral.

Jasmine adds a luminous floral heart.

Vanilla and musk form a smooth, lightly sweet base with the salt still present.

Is Lancôme Idôle Aura discontinued?

It no longer appears in Lancôme's Idôle range and fragrance references report it as discontinued. Some retailers may still hold bottles.

What does the salt note do?

It gives the rose a mineral, sea-air feel. Some wearers find it refreshing, others find it slightly soapy.

Is Lancôme Idole Aura coming back?

So far, we have found no announcement from Lancôme that it will return. Our version is an eau de parfum in 50 ml or 100 ml.

Inside the EU, delivery is free on orders of €49 or more. Below that it is a flat €4.99. Outside the EU, delivery is a flat €4.99 on every order. We send every order in 1 to 2 working days. It arrives in 3 to 7 days across the EU and in 7 to 14 days outside the EU. You have 14 days to return an unopened bottle.
