Azzaro Visit, inspired by Azzaro Visit for Men (2003)

Nutmeg sets the tone from the first spray, with pink pepper, cardamom and ginger crowding round it and a little bergamot for air. The spice gradually gives way to incense, cedar and guaiac wood, a wood with a smoky, faintly sweet tar note. Labdanum adds a resinous shadow. At the end, musk and ambergris leave a smooth, skin-like finish.

About the original

Annick Menardo created Visit for Men in 2003, aimed at what Azzaro called a modern, urban, younger generation. Its distinctive character draws comparisons with Gucci Rush for Men and Le Labo Gaiac 10. There are also reports that it was reformulated after the brand moved to L'Oréal. It is absent from Azzaro's current English and French ranges, and several recent reviews report that it has been discontinued. Visit for Women (2004) and Bright Visit (2006) are separate scents.

Our version

Ours is an independent eau de parfum made to evoke the same character. It is not Azzaro stock, not an official relaunch and not the original formula.

Who it suits

Its spiced smoke stays quiet and close. It feels composed and textured rather than loud. Buyers who want freshness or sweetness may find the incense and guaiac too dry.

It no longer appears in Azzaro's range, and recent reports describe it as discontinued. The brand has not made a statement.

Is this Visit for Men or Visit for Women?

We base it on Visit for Men (2003). Visit for Women (2004) and Bright Visit (2006) are different fragrances.

Is it smoky?

Gently. Incense and guaiac wood give a dry smoke, but the spices and musk keep it smooth.

Is Azzaro Visit coming back?

So far, we have found no announcement from Azzaro that it will return. Our version is an eau de parfum in 50 ml or 100 ml.

Inside the EU, delivery is free on orders of €49 or more. Below that it is a flat €4.99. Outside the EU, delivery is a flat €4.99 on every order. We send every order in 1 to 2 working days.
