Million Gold, inspired by Rabanne Million Gold (2024)

Mandarin is the headline, used in what Rabanne's retail copy calls an XL dose, with bergamot sharpening it. Cardamom and cinnamon warm it almost at once, while pink pepper adds a tingle and a little rose rounds the centre. Below sits a substantial structure of sandalwood and cedarwood, joined by akigalawood, a patchouli-derived material with a peppery woodiness, and cypriol, an earthy, smoky root oil. Press sums it up as ultra woody and ambery with a citrus-spice signature.

About the original

Rabanne launched Million Gold in August and September 2024, together with the women's Million Gold for Her, with Moses Sumney as ambassador. The bottle is shaped like a gold ingot and topped with Rabanne's XL Link. Launch press credits Christophe Raynaud and Quentin Bisch and positions this eau de parfum intense as a new take on 1 Million. Some retailers call it Million Gold For Him.

Ours is an independent eau de parfum made to evoke the same character. It is not Rabanne stock, not an official relaunch and not the original formula.

Who it suits

Woody and ambery throughout, it is built for men who prefer spice and wood to fresh aquatics. Cinnamon and cypriol give the base a dark, slightly smoky edge that may not appeal to someone seeking a clean, light scent.

How does Million Gold differ from One Million?

It is a separate, newer fragrance in the same line, built around mandarin, spices and sandalwood. Rabanne's original Million Gold is an eau de parfum intense, while our version comes in eau de parfum strength, 50 or 100 ml.

Inside the EU, delivery is free on orders of €49 or more. Below that it is a flat €4.99. Outside the EU, delivery is a flat €4.99 on every order. We send every order in 1 to 2 working days.
