Baiser De Russie
39,00 €
Our interpretation of Guerlain Baiser de Russie, an unusual gourmand woody built on plum, pine and cranberry over caramel, sandalwood and soft vanilla. Rebuilt as a 50ml Eau de Parfum at up to 40% perfume oil and made in the EU.
The original has since been discontinued, which makes it harder to find. Our interpretation keeps that character available, rebuilt at a higher perfume oil concentration for bolder projection and longer wear.

Guerlain Baiser De Russie dupe, inspired by the original
Baiser de Russie, meaning Russian Kiss, was part of Guerlain’s exclusive Les Parisiennes line, composed by Thierry Wasser and released in 2018. It reworked a rare earlier Guerlain called Moscow into something warmer and more gourmand. The original is now discontinued and sought after by collectors, so our interpretation keeps its unusual character available, rebuilt as a long lasting eau de parfum made in the EU.
The Story Behind the Scent
Guerlain’s Les Parisiennes collection is where the house keeps its more experimental and exclusive work, sold mainly through its own boutiques. Baiser de Russie belongs to that world of small batch, hard to find perfumes. It was Thierry Wasser’s reimagining of Moscow from an earlier city themed series, keeping the striking combination of pine, cranberry and a sweet gourmand base that made the original so memorable.
What sets it apart is the contrast. Cold, resinous pine needle and tart cranberry sit up against warm caramel, tonka and vanilla, so the scent feels both crisp and cosy at once, almost festive. Plum and bergamot add roundness at the top and jasmine softens the middle. It is an unusual, characterful perfume rather than a crowd pleaser, which is exactly why its discontinuation left a gap. Our version follows that same striking arc.
How Our Version Compares to the Original
We do not claim this is identical, because no interpretation ever is. What we have captured is the original’s contrast of resinous pine and tart cranberry against a warm caramel and vanilla base. Ours is blended at up to 40% perfume oil, so it projects clearly early on and lingers on skin and fabric, keeping a discontinued scent alive and wearable.

How it Smells
The opening is bright and slightly tart, with plum, lemon and bergamot lifting a cool, resinous pine needle note. It feels crisp and unusual from the first spray, more festive than fresh.
The heart brings tart cranberry and a soft touch of jasmine, keeping that cool, fruity character while the warmth starts to build underneath. This contrast between cold and cosy is the heart of what makes the scent memorable.
The base is where it turns warm and gourmand, with caramel, tonka bean, vanilla and sandalwood wrapping everything in a soft, sweet glow. White musk keeps it smooth, and it dries down cosy and comforting, leaving a gentle sweet woody trail.
Common Questions
Is this the original Guerlain fragrance?
No. This is our own interpretation of the Baiser de Russie scent profile, rebuilt at up to 40% perfume oil. It is not the branded fragrance and does not use the same formula.
Is Baiser De Russie a sweet perfume?
It has a warm gourmand base of caramel, tonka and vanilla, but the pine and tart cranberry keep it from being straightforwardly sweet, giving it an unusual crisp edge.
When is the best time to wear it?
It is at its best in autumn and winter and in the evening, when its festive contrast of pine and caramel feels most at home.
How long does it last?
Our version is blended at a high perfume oil concentration, well above a standard spray, so most wearers get a full day on skin and longer on clothing. Longevity always varies a little with skin type and weather.
Is it a feminine scent?
It was designed as a feminine fragrance and reads that way, though anyone who enjoys a gourmand woody profile can wear it.
Is the original still available?
The original Guerlain Baiser de Russie has been discontinued and is increasingly hard to find at retail. Our interpretation keeps the scent profile available and wearable.
