Darcy, inspired by Parfums de Marly Darcy (2014)

Darcy starts on citrus: sweet orange leads, with bergamot and lemon keeping it lively. Rose and jasmine arrive soon after, forming a classic, clearly feminine floral heart. Sweetness builds towards the base, where praline sits over patchouli and white musk. It stays fresh at the top and becomes noticeably sweeter as it dries down.

About the original

Parfums de Marly introduced Darcy in January 2014, together with Galloway, as a 120 ml Eau de Parfum. In keeping with the house's equestrian theme, it was presented as a tribute to horses and riding. It no longer appears on the brand's EU or US websites, and some retailers list it as sold out or unavailable, although we have found no official statement. Darley, a separate masculine from the same house, is a different fragrance.

Our version

Ours is an independent eau de parfum made to evoke the same character. It is not Parfums de Marly stock, not an official relaunch and not the original formula.

Who it suits

Light and pretty rather than dramatic, Darcy lets citrus and flowers carry most of the composition. The praline base adds a sugary note that may put off buyers looking for a dry, green floral.

No. Darcy is the 2014 feminine floral; Darley is a separate Parfums de Marly fragrance presented as masculine.

Is Parfums de Marly Darcy coming back?

So far, we have found no announcement from Parfums de Marly that it will return. Our version is an eau de parfum in 50 ml or 100 ml.
