Nectar Love

Nectar Love, inspired by DKNY Nectar Love (2017)

Nectar Love is built around honey. Citrus and nectarine open it with yellow freesia and solar notes, giving a sun-on-petals feel. Jasmine and mirabelle plum fill the middle, and the base brings honeycomb with a waxy, faintly animalic beeswax edge, rounded by vanilla and lifted by neroli. Honey and wildflowers sum it up: sweet without becoming syrupy.

About the original

DKNY launched Nectar Love in 2017 as an eau de parfum in three sizes, using the apple-shaped bottle of the Be Delicious family with bee motifs on the stopper. It was sold under its own name and as a regular release, not a limited edition. It no longer appears on DKNY's site, and clearance sales and its withdrawal in the UK have been reported.

Our version

Ours is an independent eau de parfum made to evoke the same character. It is not DKNY stock, not an official relaunch and not the original formula.

Who it suits

Honey lovers are the obvious audience, especially in spring and summer. The beeswax gives the drydown a skin-like, slightly animal quality that some will find intriguing and others odd, and the overall sweetness is noticeable.

Honeycomb and beeswax dominate the base, with vanilla, cedar and musk underneath and neroli keeping it from feeling heavy.

Is DKNY Nectar Love discontinued?

It is no longer on DKNY's site, and it has been reported as discontinued in the UK. Some US retailers may still have stock.

Does it smell of honey?

Yes. Honeycomb and beeswax are the main base notes, giving a waxy, honeyed sweetness rather than a sugary one.

Is Nectar Love a Be Delicious flanker?

It uses the Be Delicious apple bottle but was released under its own name.

Is DKNY Nectar Love coming back?

So far, we have found no announcement from DKNY that it will return. Our version is an eau de parfum in 50 ml or 100 ml.

Inside the EU, delivery is free on orders of €49 or more. Below that it is a flat €4.99. Outside the EU, delivery is a flat €4.99 on every order. We send every order in 1 to 2 working days. It arrives in 3 to 7 days across the EU and in 7 to 14 days outside the EU. You have 14 days to return an unopened bottle.
