Ever Bloom, inspired by Shiseido Ever Bloom (2015)

Ever Bloom is a large, luminous bouquet rather than a single-flower study. Lotus gives it a watery, transparent quality, while jasmine, Bulgarian rose and orange blossom provide its fuller floral body. Gardenia also appears in some note lists. Hinoki, the pale, resinous wood of the Japanese cypress, and musk keep the base clean and dry. One beauty writer likened its structure to concentric circles of accords rather than a classic top-to-base pyramid.

About the original

Shiseido launched Ever Bloom in October 2015 across 32 European and Middle East countries, built on the theme of 'Bloom of Inner Beauty' and inspired by a camellia photograph by Roso Fukuhara. A Parfum Extrait Absolu followed in January 2016. The original Eau de Parfum is no longer listed on Shiseido's UK or US websites, and several retailers report it as out of stock or no longer listed. Other Ever Bloom versions, such as the eau de toilette, may still be found at some retailers.

Our version

Ours is an independent eau de parfum made to evoke the same character. It is not Shiseido stock, not an official relaunch and not the original formula.

Who it suits

Fans of clean, generous white florals will feel at home with it. It is floral throughout, with no fruit or gourmand sweetness, so buyers who want something spicy, sweet or woody-heavy may find it too polite.

Is Shiseido Ever Bloom discontinued?

The original 2015 Eau de Parfum no longer appears on Shiseido's UK and US sites, and retailers list it as unavailable. Other Ever Bloom versions may still be sold.

What does hinoki smell like?

Hinoki is Japanese cypress, a pale wood with a clean, slightly lemony and resinous scent.

Is this the Eau de Parfum or the Eau de Toilette?

It is based on the original 2015 Eau de Parfum. The later Ever Bloom Eau de Toilette is a lighter version.

Is Shiseido Ever Bloom coming back?

So far, we have found no announcement from Shiseido that it will return. Our version is an eau de parfum in 50 ml or 100 ml.
