L'Absolu For Her, inspired by Narciso Rodriguez for her L'Absolu (2015)

Jasmine absolute, the concentrated extract of the flower, is what stands out first, full and slightly heady. It surrounds the musk heart that runs through the whole for her family, making it denser and more sensual. Amber and sandalwood give the base a rounded depth, while patchouli adds an earthy note. The Perfume Society summed up the result as 'raw yet refined'.

About the original

L'Absolu launched in September 2015 as a deeper interpretation of for her, the 2003 musk that started the Narciso Rodriguez line. The brand described it as more seductive and intense than the original. Its bottle is a deep aubergine that looks almost black at first glance. It is no longer listed by Narciso Rodriguez, whose current for her range includes an Eau de Parfum Intense, a different fragrance.

Our version

Ours is an independent eau de parfum made to evoke the same character. It is not Narciso Rodriguez stock, not an official relaunch and not the original formula.

Who it suits

Richer than the original for her, it is for a wearer who finds the classic for her too discreet. Jasmine is prominent, and with patchouli and amber the effect is heady, which may overwhelm a fan of clean, airy musks.

It no longer appears in Narciso Rodriguez's for her range. Remaining stock is still offered by some sellers.

Is L'Absolu the same as for her Eau de Parfum Intense?

No. L'Absolu (2015) is a separate flanker. The Eau de Parfum Intense is a different fragrance that the brand still sells.

How does L'Absolu differ from the original for her?

It adds jasmine absolute to the musk heart and leans on amber, sandalwood and patchouli, so it is fuller and more floral than the 2003 original.

Is Narciso Rodriguez L'Absolu For Her coming back?

So far, we have found no announcement from Narciso Rodriguez that it will return. Our version is an eau de parfum in 50 ml or 100 ml.
