Beyond Paradise was Estee Lauder’s vision of a perfect, imaginary garden. Our version keeps that same abundant feel, opening green and fresh before unfolding into orchid, wisteria, and a soft, sunlit warmth of amber and sandalwood.

The Story Behind the Scent

Estee Lauder set out to capture the feeling of nature at its most beautiful and slightly unreal, a paradise that only exists in the imagination. The perfumers used a technique called HeadSpace to capture the scent of living flowers, then wove them into something lush and full.

The result was one of the most distinctive florals of its era, green and juicy at the top, exotic and creamy in the heart. Our interpretation follows that same blueprint, leading with dewy blue hyacinth and citrus before settling into orchid, pittosporum, and wisteria over a warm base of cananga, amber, and sandalwood.

How it Smells

It opens green and dewy, with blue hyacinth front and centre, brightened by mandarin and bergamot so it feels fresh rather than sharp.

The heart is where it becomes lush. Orchid and wisteria give a creamy, exotic floral fullness, while pittosporum adds a green, almost honeyed edge.

The base warms slowly into cananga, amber, and sandalwood, giving the flowers a soft, sunlit landing. It stays rich and comforting well into the day.

Built at up to 40% perfume oil, it wears longer than a standard eau de parfum, with the florals lasting through much of the day.

You can choose between 50 ml and 100 ml, both made in the EU as an eau de parfum concentration.

When should I wear it?
It is at its best in spring and summer, though its warm base makes it enjoyable in cooler weather too.
