Fantasia De Fleurs, inspired by Creed Fantasia de Fleurs (1862)

Rose is the point of this perfume: a full, dewy Bulgarian rose with a powdery finish. Bergamot lifts the opening for a moment before the flower takes over. Iris adds an earthy, rooty tone underneath, which keeps the rose from turning jammy. As it settles, ambergris gives the skin a faintly salty, mineral glow.

About the original

Creed's own marketing dates Fantasia de Fleurs to 1862, a claim no independent source has confirmed. It was sold as a women's Eau de Parfum built around rose and iris. As of October 2026 it no longer appears in the women's collections on Creed's US or UK sites, and some retailers show it as out of stock. We have found no statement from Creed about it.

Ours is an independent eau de parfum made to evoke the same character. It is not Creed stock, not an official relaunch and not the original formula.

Its style is classic feminine perfumery, so it sits best with someone who enjoys rose and iris in the old manner. The powdery, rooty iris may feel dated to a wearer used to modern fruity roses.

Bergamot gives a brief citrus lift, then Bulgarian rose fills the scent, dewy and full with a powdery edge.

Iris root runs beneath it, earthy and dry, and the drydown turns to ambergris, slightly salty.
