One Summer 2016, inspired by Calvin Klein CK One Summer 2016 (2016)

Green apple and lime mojito, a tangy cocktail accord, come first, with green ginger adding a little spark. Guava and tiare flower, the Tahitian gardenia, bring a tropical heart. Juniper keeps a fresh, slightly gin-like thread running through the fruit. The drydown turns milky with coconut milk, resting on cedarwood and tree moss.

About the original

Calvin Klein releases a new CK One Summer limited edition most years, and the 2016 version took a tropical cocktail theme. Like the main CK One, it was presented as a shared scent for men and women. No perfumer was credited. It was produced only for the summer of 2016 and has not been made since.

Our version

Ours is an independent eau de parfum made to evoke the same character. It is not Calvin Klein stock, not an official relaunch and not the original formula.

Who it suits

Playful rather than polished, it belongs to holidays, heat and casual days. The coconut milk is noticeable in the base, which may surprise anyone expecting a purely citrus scent.

No. It was a limited edition for summer 2016 and is no longer produced.

Does it smell of coconut?

Yes, in the drydown. Coconut milk appears in the base alongside cedarwood.

Is Calvin Klein One Summer 2016 coming back?

It was a limited edition. So far, we have found no announcement from Calvin Klein about a re-release. Our version is an eau de parfum in 50 ml or 100 ml.
