Turbulences, inspired by Louis Vuitton Turbulences (2016)

Turbulences puts tuberose and jasmine at the front, both heady and lush. Magnolia and rose fill out the bouquet with a fresher, petal-like layer. Beneath the flowers, leather and musk give it an animalic depth, so it is far fuller than a fresh floral.

About the original

Turbulences was one of the seven women's fragrances that launched Les Parfums Louis Vuitton in September 2016, alongside Rose des Vents, all by Jacques Cavallier Belletrud. It was sold as an eau de parfum in 100 ml and 200 ml, with a travel spray and a limited miniature set. It no longer appears on Louis Vuitton's official sites in France, the UK or the US, and LV has made no public statement about it.

Our version

Ours is an independent eau de parfum made to evoke the same character. It is not Louis Vuitton stock, not an official relaunch and not the original formula.

Who it suits

Tuberose is the deciding factor, so it suits someone who already enjoys big white florals. The leather and musk base adds an animalic note that a buyer looking for a clean, fresh floral may not want.

Magnolia and rose join in the heart, lightening the white flowers a little.

Leather and musk form the base, with sandalwood listed in some sources, giving the drydown a sensual, skin-like finish.

It is no longer listed on Louis Vuitton's official sites in France, the UK or the US, and LV has made no public statement about it.

Is Louis Vuitton Turbulences coming back?

So far, we have found no announcement from Louis Vuitton that it will return. Our version is an eau de parfum in 50 ml or 100 ml.
