212 Sexy Men, inspired by Carolina Herrera 212 Sexy Men (2006)

The citrus top is brief, there mainly to lift the spices that follow. Black pepper adds a dry prickle, and cardamom, which smells cool and slightly eucalyptus-like, gives the middle its aromatic character. As it settles, vanilla and amber make it rounder and sweeter, with sandalwood adding a milky woodiness and musk smoothing the edges.

About the original

212 Sexy Men came out in 2006 as the men's partner to the women's 212 Sexy. It is usually credited to Alberto Morillas and Rosendo Mateu. Carolina Herrera's European site now sells it as 212 Men Sexy, an eau de toilette. Published note lists vary between retailers, so the notes here are the ones most consistently given.
