The Scent Magnetic, inspired by Boss The Scent Magnetic for Him (2023)

Magnetic is built on three named ingredients, one for each stage. It starts with maninka, a fruit Boss presents as exclusive to the line. Wheat bran absolute follows, a note with a dry, toasted-cereal character. Black vanilla extract carries the base, and retail copy adds an amber-woody, leathery tone to the drydown.

About the original

Boss announced The Scent Magnetic in January 2023, and it reached travel retail in Europe and the Americas the following month. Delphine Lebeau composed the men's version. It launched with a women's counterpart by Louise Turner, built on osmanthus, ambrette and white musk. One retailer dates the men's scent to 2022, though launch press places it in early 2023.

Our version

Ours is an independent eau de parfum made to evoke the same character. It is not Hugo Boss stock, not an official relaunch and not the original formula.

Who it suits

Wearers of the original The Scent who want a vanilla-led follow-up are the natural fit. The base is noticeably sweet and the leather tone adds weight, so it is neither fresh nor citrusy. Grain notes such as bran can read slightly bready to some noses.

For Him, the 2023 men's eau de parfum by Delphine Lebeau. The Scent Magnetic for Her is a different scent built on osmanthus, ambrette and white musk.

The Scent is the original line. Magnetic is a flanker built on maninka, wheat bran and black vanilla, with an ambery, leathery character. We also make The Scent and The Scent For Her.

Inside the EU, delivery is free on orders of €49 or more. Below that it is a flat €4.99. Outside the EU, delivery is a flat €4.99 on every order. We send every order in 1 to 2 working days. It arrives in 3 to 7 days across the EU and in 7 to 14 days outside the EU. You have 14 days to return an unopened bottle.
