Higher, inspired by Dior Higher (2001)

Higher opens on citrus (Dior's French site names bergamot) and green basil. Rosemary, pepper and cardamom form an aromatic, gently spiced middle, with a fruity edge that Dior itself mentions. Cedar and white musk dry it down to something clean and woody. Overall it is fresh and unfussy, with nothing heavy in the base.

About the original

Dior launched Higher in 2001; databases usually credit Olivier Gillotin and Olivier Pescheux. The original bottle left North American shops around the mid-2000s but stayed on sale in some markets. On 1 October 2026 Dior reissued it as part of Les Dioriginals, with the formula restored by Francis Kurkdjian and an oval bottle based on a 1948 design. Higher Energy (2003) is its flanker and a separate scent.

Our version

Ours is an independent eau de parfum made to evoke the same character. It is not Dior stock, not an official relaunch and not the original formula.

Who it suits

Fresh-woody and understated, Higher is the kind reviewers reach for in warm weather. It avoids sweetness and heavy amber, so it may feel too slight to someone who wants a dense, rich fragrance.

Yes. Dior reissued it in October 2026 in Les Dioriginals, with the formula restored by Francis Kurkdjian. Our version is inspired by Higher and is not the Dior reissue.

How does Higher differ from Higher Energy?

Higher (2001) is citrus, basil and rosemary over cedar and musk. Higher Energy (2003) is a flanker built on grapefruit, juniper, absinthe and vetiver, which we also make.
