La Yuqawam Tobacco Blaze, inspired by Rasasi La Yuqawam Tobacco Blaze (2013)

Despite the name, tobacco is not among the notes Rasasi lists for Tobacco Blaze. Its darker character comes instead from leather and Indian oud in the base. Before that, peach and orange flower give a fruity, floral opening lifted by bergamot. Amber and cedar then take over, and the scent grows more resinous.

About the original

La Yuqawam appeared in 2012 and Tobacco Blaze followed in 2013, according to fragrance references, alongside Orchid Prairie. Later flankers include Jasmine Wisp and Ambergris Showers. Rasasi markets Tobacco Blaze for men and describes it as warm and rich. It remains in the brand's range as a 75 ml eau de parfum.

Our version

Ours is an independent eau de parfum made to evoke the same character. It is not Rasasi stock, not an official relaunch and not the original formula.

Who it suits

Men drawn to leather and oud will find the base the most rewarding part. There is no listed tobacco note, so buyers expecting a pipe-tobacco scent may be disappointed.
