Most Wanted, inspired by Azzaro The Most Wanted Eau de Parfum Intense (2021)

The Most Wanted starts with cardamom, which smells green and slightly lemony before turning spicier. Within minutes a toffee accord takes over, buttery and burnt-sugar sweet, and it stays at the centre. Amberwood, a modern woody-amber material with a dry, resinous glow, carries the base, and Azzaro describes that accord as bourbon vanilla with vetiver. With so few notes, the sweetness is easy to follow from start to finish.

About the original

Azzaro launched The Most Wanted in April 2021 as an Eau de Parfum Intense, joining Wanted (2016) and Wanted by Night (2018) in the Wanted line. It came in an all-black version of the barrel-shaped Wanted bottle, with matte and shiny finishes. Azzaro classes it as a fougère ambery with woody notes. A later The Most Wanted Parfum has a different profile; this page follows the 2021 eau de parfum intense, which Azzaro still sells.

Our version

Ours is an independent eau de parfum made to evoke the same character. It is not Azzaro stock, not an official relaunch and not the original formula.

Who it suits

Toffee is the deciding factor here. Men who like spiced scents with a caramel edge will find it easy to wear, while anyone after something crisp or green may find it cloying. Reviews consistently mention the sweetness.

The Most Wanted. Our reference is Azzaro's 2021 Eau de Parfum Intense, with cardamom and toffee. The 2016 Wanted eau de toilette is a fresher citrus-woody scent, which we also make.

Which version of The Most Wanted is it based on?

Our reference is the 2021 Eau de Parfum Intense, the first release. The later The Most Wanted Parfum smells different and is not the reference for ours.

How sweet is it?

Noticeably sweet. The toffee accord sits at the heart, with amberwood adding a drier woody base.
