Gra, inspired by Khaltat Grá Parfum

Grá lists only three notes, and mint is the freshest of them. The herb gives a cool, green lift, while amber adds a resinous, golden sweetness and agarwood a woody depth. Khaltat describes the overall effect as a balanced agarwood scent that changes on skin.

About the original

Khaltat, an Emirati house based in Dubai, files Grá in the Fresh family of its Love Collection, which is sold in 65 ml bottles. The name is the Irish word for love. Grá is also offered as a 6 ml concentrated oil and as dokhoon, and the oil has been listed elsewhere with different notes (carnation, cedar and juniper), so the two formats should not be assumed to smell alike. No launch year has been published.

Our version

Ours is an independent eau de parfum made to evoke the same character. It is not Khaltat stock, not an official relaunch and not the original formula.

Who it suits

Mint gives this agarwood scent a fresh, herbal side. Amber and agarwood keep it resinous and woody underneath. Khaltat gives no gender for it, and we list it as unisex.

Is the Grá oil the same scent as the spray?

Not necessarily. The concentrated oil has been listed with carnation, cedar and juniper, while Khaltat gives mint, amber and agarwood for the spray. This page follows the spray.

How does Grá differ from Aloha?

Both come from Khaltat's Love Collection. Aloha is a sweet coconut and vanilla gourmand, while Grá is a fresher, mint-led agarwood scent.
