Aloha, inspired by Khaltat Aloha Parfum

Aloha is built on just three named notes, and each one gets room. Coconut arrives first, which Khaltat describes as tropical, sweet and milky. Vanilla takes over as it settles and brings a powdery, comforting quality. Agarwood, the resinous heartwood also known as oud, sits underneath and gives the sweetness some depth.

About the original

Khaltat is a Dubai perfume house, reported to belong to the Mohamed Hilal Group, that sells mainly through its own boutiques and website. Aloha belongs to its Love Collection, where every scent comes in a 65 ml bottle, and the house also offers it as a concentrated oil, a body lotion and as dokhoon for burning. Khaltat labels the spray simply as parfum and has not published a launch year. It has no connection with other fragrances called Aloha, such as Comptoir Sud Pacifique Aloha Tiare.

Our version

Ours is an independent eau de parfum made to evoke the same character. It is not Khaltat stock, not an official relaunch and not the original formula.

Who it suits

Gourmand lovers who find straight vanilla scents flat will get more interest from the coconut and oud pairing here. It reads sweet from start to finish, so buyers who avoid coconut or sugary fragrances should pass. Khaltat markets it as unisex.
