Mate tea gives the first impression a bitter, grassy edge, with bergamot, grapefruit and neroli brightening it and black cherry adding dark fruit. Clary sage brings a herbal note. Tobacco forms the heart, sweet and full, which the brand says carries nuances of maple, caramel and whisky, set among jasmine, orris and papyrus. Labdanum, a sticky resin, leads the base with smoky leather, tonka bean and vanilla.

About the original

Jump Up and Kiss Me Hedonistic belongs to Clive Christian's Addictive Arts collection and is dated 2021 by fragrance references, which credit Julie Pluchet. It follows the collection's 2017 debut, when Jump Up and Kiss Me and Hedonistic were separate scents, and the brand also sells a sibling called Ecstatic. Clive Christian calls it an amber-infused oriental, sold in 50 ml at 25% concentration.

Who it suits
