Apom

Apom, inspired by Maison Francis Kurkdjian APOM (2024)

APOM pairs lavender, usually a herbal note in men's scents, with orange blossom, so the heart smells both clean and honeyed. Ylang-ylang and vanilla deepen it, and white musks give a skin-like smoothness. A cedar-amber accord made with labdanum, a sticky shrub resin, adds a resinous glow to the base. Maison Francis Kurkdjian calls it carnal, and the effect is rounded and enveloping rather than fresh.

About the original

APOM, short for 'A Part Of Me', first appeared in 2009 as two separate scents, APOM pour femme and APOM pour homme. In September 2024 Maison Francis Kurkdjian combined them into a single unisex APOM Eau de Parfum, presented as giving the scent new life. This page follows that 2024 version, the APOM the house now sells; the older pour femme and pour homme no longer appear in its official range. Francis Kurkdjian is the perfumer.

Our version

Ours is an independent eau de parfum made to evoke the same character. It is not Maison Francis Kurkdjian stock, not an official relaunch and not the original formula.

Who it suits

Its mix of lavender and orange blossom makes it genuinely shareable between men and women. Vanilla and amber give it a rich, cosseting base. The sweetness and musk may feel heavy to someone who prefers airy citrus or green scents.

Is this APOM pour femme or the new APOM?

It follows the 2024 unisex APOM Eau de Parfum, which combined the 2009 pour femme and pour homme into one scent.
