Luna, inspired by Penhaligon's Luna (2016)

Luna starts with realistic citrus, mostly bergamot and the peel-like bitterness of orange bigarade, with lemon in support. The heart is transparent: rose and jasmine sit lightly, while juniper berry adds a resinous, gin-like greenness. Fir balsam brings a faint forest note to the base, cushioned by musk and ambergris. Throughout, the effect stays airy.

About the original

Penhaligon's launched Luna in 2016 and presented it as a feminine counterpart to Endymion Concentré. The brand story ties it to the light of a crescent moon and a moon goddess. It was released as an eau de toilette, and the house has since built a wider Luna line around it, from body products and home scents to gift sets.

Our version

Ours is an independent eau de parfum made to evoke the same character. It is not Penhaligon's stock, not an official relaunch and not the original formula.

Who it suits

Light enough for warm weather and the office, according to one launch review, Luna is a good fit for women who find most rose perfumes too dense. It is sheer by design, so buyers looking for depth or sweetness may find it understated.
