Peregrina, inspired by Thameen Peregrina (2019)

Peregrina begins as a dense bouquet, Damask rose first, with gardenia and jasmine close behind and lily of the valley adding a cooler tone. The twist comes underneath, where caramel and vanilla meet myrrh, a resin with a slightly bitter depth, and ylang-ylang adds a rich, creamy floral note. As the flowers fade, the scent turns powdery, with white musk and amber holding the sweetness in place.

About the original

Thameen London launched Peregrina in 2019 as an extrait de parfum. According to the brand, the name comes from La Peregrina, the pearl once owned by Mary I and later by Elizabeth Taylor. A Peregrina Limited Edition followed in 2022 with the same notes in a special bottle, while Red Peregrina is a separate scent. Thameen still sells the original.

Our version

Ours is an independent eau de parfum made to evoke the same character. It is not Thameen stock, not an official relaunch and not the original formula.

Who it suits

Peregrina sits firmly on the sweet, powdery side of florals. The caramel is noticeable, so buyers who dislike gourmand touches in a rose may find it heavy; it feels enveloping rather than airy.

Is this the regular Peregrina or the Limited Edition?

It is based on Peregrina from 2019. The 2022 Limited Edition lists the same notes in a special bottle.

Is Peregrina very sweet?

Fairly. Caramel and vanilla sit in the heart, and caramel ranks among its main accords alongside amber, rose and powder.

Is it the same as Red Peregrina?

No. Red Peregrina is a separate Thameen fragrance.
