Vibrato

Vibrato, inspired by Sospiro Vibrato (2022)

Grapefruit and bergamot open Vibrato with a sparkling bitterness, and ginger with rosemary adds a spicy, herbal crackle. Mandarin softens the edges. Magnolia and Damascena rose then give the middle a gentle floral roundness, while blond wood keeps it pale and clean. The base brings vetiver, patchouli, Indian sandalwood, musk, an amber accord and tonka, which turn the finish smooth and lightly powdery.

About the original

Sospiro, an Italian house founded in 2010, released Vibrato in 2022 as part of its Classica Collection. The brand's current note list differs from the one most retailers still show (which has jasmine, orris and cedar), and Sospiro has not said whether the formula changed. A flanker, Vibrato Nero, was added in 2026. Vibrato itself remains in the Sospiro range.

Our version

Ours is an independent eau de parfum made to evoke the same character. It is not Sospiro stock, not an official relaunch and not the original formula.

Who it suits

Retailers present it as unisex and versatile, and it appears in summer edits. The character is fresh and tidy at first, more rounded and woody later. Those hoping for a purely zesty cologne may find the amber and tonka base fuller than expected.

Why do note lists for Vibrato differ?

Sospiro's own site now lists grapefruit, ginger, magnolia, rose and woods, while many shops still show an older list. We follow the brand's current notes.
