Kalamansi, a small, sour citrus from South-East Asia, sets the tone, and petitgrain adds the leafy, slightly bitter smell of a crushed orange-tree twig. Cardamom keeps the top cool and aromatic. Rather than going sweet, the scent moves into green tea and coriander, which feel more like shade under the branches than ripe fruit. It finishes on cedarwood and white musks, clean and quite dry.

About the original

Each Replica scent is named after a memory, and this one recalls a summer day in Palermo in 1987. Now Smell This reported the launch in December 2018, and launch press positioned it for spring 2019. That launch report lists lime, mate and cistus, where current retail pyramids give kalamansi and citrus absolute, so the published notes vary by source. It is an eau de toilette, and our store name drops the final 's' of the official title.
