White Flowers, inspired by Creed White Flowers

Creed meant this to evoke a garden on a dew-covered morning, and the opening follows that brief: lemon, green apple and pear, with violet leaves adding a cool, cucumber-like greenness. Jasmine sambac, a fuller and slightly fruity jasmine, leads the heart with rose and a little geranium. Narcissus appears late, giving a faint hay-like depth to a base of musk and cedarwood.

About the original

White Flowers belongs to Les Royales Exclusives, the Creed collection in gilded Pochet du Courval bottles, and comes in 75 ml and 250 ml. Creed presents it as unisex. A firm launch year has not been established, though it probably arrived in the early years of the collection, around 2010 to 2011. The name sits close to Creed's Spring Flower and Wind Flowers, but each is a separate composition.

Our version

Ours is an independent eau de parfum made to evoke the same character. It is not Creed stock, not an official relaunch and not the original formula.

Who it suits

Fresh florals with a green, fruity lift are its territory, and it stays on the lighter side throughout. The narcissus and musk base is gentle, so it may feel too restrained for someone who wants a bold white floral.

Is White Flowers the same as Creed Spring Flower or Wind Flowers?

No. Spring Flower is fruit-led with peach and apricot, and Wind Flowers is a richer floral with tuberose and praline. White Flowers is the greener, dewier one.

Is White Flowers sweet?

Only lightly. The apple and pear give some fruity sweetness, but violet leaf and the green opening keep it fresh.
