About the perfume
Jasmine Musk, inspired by Tom Ford Jasmine Musk (2009)
Jasmine opens it, already dusted with something like vanilla sugar, while ylang-ylang adds a ripe, faintly fruity note. Orris (iris root) lends a powdery, slightly cosmetic texture as the flowers settle. A thin thread of citrus surfaces once the flowers have settled. Underneath sit musk, sandalwood and a little patchouli and vetiver.
About the original
Jasmine Musk launched in 2009 as one of four sheer eaux de parfum in Tom Ford's Private Blend White Musk Collection, alongside Urban Musk, White Suede and Musk Pure. Of the four, only White Suede is still in the official range. Some sources spell the name Jasmin Musk. Tom Ford Jasmin Rouge, which is current, is an unrelated scent.

Who it suits
Someone who finds most jasmine perfumes too loud or indolic is the natural wearer. The effect is airy and lightly sweet, with powder from the orris. Lovers of dense, narcotic jasmine will probably want more depth.
The top is jasmine with a sugared vanilla edge and the creamy, fruity tone of ylang-ylang.
In the heart orris brings powder, and a faint citrus note lifts the flowers.
The base settles on musk with sandalwood, amber, labdanum, patchouli and vetiver, smooth and soft.

Is Tom Ford Jasmine Musk discontinued?
It is no longer listed in Tom Ford's official Private Blend range, and a retailer shows it as unavailable. Tom Ford has not published a date.
Is this the same as Tom Ford Jasmin Rouge?
No. Jasmin Rouge is a different jasmine scent that Tom Ford still sells, and we make it separately.
How sweet is it?
Moderately. The vanilla and ylang-ylang give the jasmine a sugared quality, but the musk keeps it light.
Is Tom Ford Jasmine Musk coming back?
