Bade'e Al Oud Sublime, inspired by Lattafa Bade'e Al Oud Sublime (2023)

Apple and lychee give the opening a crisp, sweet fruitiness, and rose is there from the first spray. Plum deepens the heart with a darker, jammy tone, while jasmine adds a floral lift. The official note list does not include oud, despite the line name. Vanilla, moss and patchouli make the base, which turns slightly earthy and keeps the fruit from becoming candy-like.

About the original

Lattafa released Bade'e Al Oud Sublime in 2023, according to the brand's US site, though some fragrance references give 2022. It belongs to the Bade'e Al Oud line alongside Oud for Glory, Amethyst and Honor & Glory, each a different scent. Lattafa sells it as unisex and also offers it in a gift set with a body spray and hair mist.

Our version

Who it suits

Those who like fruity rose scents with a sweet start will get on well with it. The moss and patchouli give it some grounding in the drydown, so it is not purely sugary. Buyers looking for a smoky or resinous oud from the line name should look at other options.

No. Oud for Glory and Sublime share the Bade'e Al Oud line name but are different fragrances. This page is Sublime, the fruity rose one.
