About the original

Kayali released The Wedding Velvet Santal | 35 on 29 June 2023 as one half of The Wedding collection, paired with Silk Santal | 36. The name reportedly refers to the velvet suit worn at the founders' wedding. Kayali names Fabrice Pellegrin as the nose. Early coverage presented it as the 'for him' half of the pair, but Kayali now treats it as a shared scent.
