Daisy, inspired by Marc Jacobs Daisy (2007)

Fruit and greenery come first in Daisy: wild berries, strawberry-like and tart, against the green, slightly cucumber-like note of violet leaves. The heart is white violet and jasmine, airy and lightly powdery rather than heavy. Sandalwood forms the base, giving a smooth, milky woodiness that keeps the scent from vanishing into pure freshness. The overall feel is clean and youthful, with sweetness kept in check.

About the original

Marc Jacobs launched Daisy in 2007, with Alberto Morillas of Firmenich as perfumer. It won two FiFi Awards in 2008, including Fragrance of the Year in the women's luxe category. A long series of flankers has followed, among them Eau So Fresh, Daisy Dream, Daisy Love and Daisy Wild, each a different composition. This page follows the original eau de toilette.

Our version

Ours is an independent eau de parfum made to evoke the same character. It is not Marc Jacobs stock, not an official relaunch and not the original formula.

Who it suits

Light, fresh and friendly, it is an easy everyday scent rather than a statement. A buyer after depth or a strong trail may find it too gentle.
