Light Blue

Light Blue, inspired by Dolce & Gabbana Light Blue (2001)

Light Blue is built to suggest a Sicilian summer: lemon first, with green apple and bellflower giving it a fresh, faintly fruity crunch. A light floral layer of jasmine and white rose follows, while bamboo adds a watery green note. Nothing here is dense. It finishes on cedarwood, amber and musk, dry and clean rather than sweet.

About the original

Olivier Cresp composed Light Blue, and Dolce & Gabbana launched it in 2001. The men's Light Blue Pour Homme, by Alberto Morillas, is a different fragrance. A long run of seasonal flankers followed, from Escape to Panarea to Italian Love. In 2025 the brand added a separate Light Blue Eau de Parfum built around lemon and frangipani; this page is based on the original eau de toilette.

Our version

Ours is an independent eau de parfum made to evoke the same character. It is not Dolce & Gabbana stock, not an official relaunch and not the original formula.

Who it suits

Its natural setting is a beach or an office in July, whenever a heavier perfume would feel oppressive. The texture is transparent and easy. Because it sits close to unisex, it suits women who dislike overtly feminine florals but may disappoint anyone wanting something lush.

The women's Light Blue Eau de Toilette from 2001. Light Blue Pour Homme is a different scent, and we make a version of that too.

Is it the new Light Blue Eau de Parfum?

No. Ours is inspired by the original 2001 eau de toilette, not the 2025 eau de parfum, which is a different composition featuring frangipani.

Is Light Blue sweet?

Only slightly. The apple adds fruitiness, but lemon and cedarwood keep it fresh and dry.
