Love Me

Love Me, inspired by Victoria's Secret Love Me (2015)

French narcissus gives Love Me its character, a flower with a heady, faintly hay-like and earthy scent quite unlike rose or jasmine. Neroli, distilled from bitter orange blossom, brightens it with a clean citrus-floral note. Sugared amber sits underneath, a resinous, gently sweet base that rounds the flowers off. The brand described it in those three notes only, and no fuller pyramid was published.

About the original

Victoria's Secret launched Love Me in January 2015 as a 50 ml eau de parfum and a 250 ml fragrance mist. It is distinct from Sexy Little Things Noir Love Me, a 2011 release, and from the brand's Love eau de parfum. This page follows the 2015 Love Me. We have not been able to find out whether it is still in production.

Our version

Ours is an independent eau de parfum made to evoke the same character. It is not Victoria's Secret stock, not an official relaunch and not the original formula.

Who it suits

Narcissus is the deciding factor: its hay-like, slightly green edge gives the scent personality but can surprise someone expecting a clean, pretty floral. The amber keeps it rounded and sweet rather than austere.

Sugared amber forms the base, sweet and resinous, giving the flowers a rounded finish.

Is this Love Me or Sexy Little Things Noir Love Me?

This page is based on the 2015 Victoria's Secret Love Me eau de parfum. Sexy Little Things Noir Love Me (2011) is an earlier, separate fragrance.

Is it the same as Victoria's Secret Love?

No. Love is a separate Victoria's Secret eau de parfum; Love Me is the 2015 narcissus, neroli and amber scent.

What does narcissus smell like?

Narcissus has a rich, slightly green floral scent with a hay-like facet. It gives Love Me more depth than a typical sweet floral.
