Infusion De Mimosa, inspired by Prada Infusion de Mimosa (2016)

Mandarin and anise open it, citrus with a faint liquorice spice, before mimosa takes over. Mimosa smells powdery and lightly honeyed, and Prada compared it to stepping into yellow velvet. Rose absolute sits beside it in support. A thin layer of woody notes keeps the base dry and sheer.

About the original

Prada added Infusion de Mimosa to Les Infusions in spring 2016, as an eau de parfum composed by Daniela Andrier. It no longer appears among Les Infusions on Prada's official sites in the US, the UK, France or Germany. In 2022 a Prada representative was reportedly quoted as saying it would be discontinued, along with Infusion d'Oeillet.

Our version

Ours is an independent eau de parfum made to evoke the same character. It is not Prada stock, not an official relaunch and not the original formula.

Who it suits

Mimosa is a spring flower, and the scent was launched as a spring release with a fresh, summery feel. It is airy and powdery rather than rich, so people drawn to deep or spicy perfumes may find it too delicate.

Is Prada Infusion de Mimosa discontinued?

It no longer appears in Prada's Les Infusions range in the US, the UK, France or Germany, and it was reported in 2022 to be discontinued. Some retailers still sell remaining bottles.

What does mimosa smell like?

Powdery and lightly sweet, with a yellow-flower texture. Here it is paired with rose and a touch of anise.

Is Prada Infusion De Mimosa coming back?

So far, we have found no announcement from Prada that it will return. Our version is an eau de parfum in 50 ml or 100 ml.
