This Is Us, inspired by Zadig & Voltaire This is Us! (2020)

The idea behind the scent is fabric on skin. Vanilla is the first thing you notice, then cashmeran, a musky woody material whose plush texture explains the cashmere comparison. Sandalwood adds a smooth, milky depth. Musks with a trace of patchouli keep it enveloping rather than sugary.

About the original

Mathilde Bijaoui created This is Us! as a unisex eau de toilette for Zadig & Voltaire, released around late 2020 and covered by the press in early 2021. The brand presented it as a shared scent for everyone; This is Her! and This is Him! are separate, gendered scents. A flanker, This is Us! L'Eau for All, followed in 2022 and is a different fragrance.

Our version

Ours is an independent eau de parfum made to evoke the same character. It is not Zadig & Voltaire stock, not an official relaunch and not the original formula.

Who it suits

The brand framed it as a scent to share, and it suits anyone wanting a plush, comforting woody musk. There is no citrus or fresh top note at all, so it may feel too cosy for a buyer who wants something crisp.

Is it the original This is Us! or L'Eau for All?

The original This is Us!, which Zadig & Voltaire released as an eau de toilette, centred on vanilla, cashmeran and sandalwood. Ours is an eau de parfum, and L'Eau for All (2022) is a separate flanker.

Inside the EU, delivery is free on orders of €49 or more. Below that it is a flat €4.99. Outside the EU, delivery is a flat €4.99 on every order. We send every order in 1 to 2 working days. It arrives in 3 to 7 days across the EU and in 7 to 14 days outside the EU. You have 14 days to return an unopened bottle.
