Al Amaken, inspired by Swiss Arabian Al Amaken

Al Amaken starts sweet and fruity, passion fruit and blackcurrant leading with bergamot for lift. Peony and jasmine form the heart, and a touch of vanilla rounds the floral side. As it dries, cedarwood and patchouli push the fruit back and leave an earthy, woody finish with musk.

About the original

Swiss Arabian, the UAE house, sold Al Amaken as a 50 ml eau de parfum, mostly positioned for women. Information on it is limited and comes mostly from retailers: one in the US says it first appeared there in 2017, and we have found no launch year. Al Amaken is no longer listed on Swiss Arabian's website, and several retailers show it as sold out.

Our version

Ours is an independent eau de parfum made to evoke the same character. It is not Swiss Arabian stock, not an official relaunch and not the original formula.

Who it suits

Fruit-and-patchouli fans are the obvious match, as the sweet top and the woody base sit side by side. One US retailer suggests it for work and nights out. The patchouli base may surprise buyers expecting a purely sugary fruity scent.

It no longer appears in Swiss Arabian's online range, and several retailers list it as sold out. We have not seen an announcement from the brand.

Is Al Amaken a women's scent?

Most retailers present it as a women's fragrance, although a few list it as unisex.

Is Swiss Arabian Al Amaken coming back?

So far, we have found no announcement from Swiss Arabian that it will return. Our version is an eau de parfum in 50 ml or 100 ml.

Inside the EU, delivery is free on orders of €49 or more. Below that it is a flat €4.99. Outside the EU, delivery is a flat €4.99 on every order. We send every order in 1 to 2 working days.
