Noora, inspired by Swiss Arabian Noora

Noora leads with honey, rich and golden, sharpened a little by orange. Rose and lily form the heart, and saffron adds a spiced, leathery thread. Underneath, sandalwood and vanilla keep the sweetness going, with musk giving the base a smooth finish.

About the original

Swiss Arabian sold Noora as a 20 ml concentrated oil, an attar without alcohol, and one retailer says the name means divine light. Retailers disagree on its gender and on its notes; the profile here follows the two that agree. A 50 ml eau de parfum also existed, and Noora Onyx is a separate flanker, so neither should be confused with this oil. Noora no longer appears on Swiss Arabian's website, and several retailers show it as sold out.

Our version

Ours is an independent eau de parfum made to evoke the same character. It is not Swiss Arabian stock, not an official relaunch and not the original formula.

Who it suits

Honey is the defining note, which makes it a fit for buyers who enjoy syrupy, golden sweetness. Rose and saffron keep it from feeling purely sugary. Honey can read slightly animalic on some skin, which is worth knowing before buying.

Is Swiss Arabian Noora discontinued?

It no longer appears on Swiss Arabian's website, and several retailers list it as sold out. Some sellers in the UAE still carry it, possibly remaining stock.

Is this based on the Noora oil or the eau de parfum?

This page describes the 20 ml concentrated oil. Swiss Arabian also made a 50 ml eau de parfum and a separate Noora Onyx, which are not covered here.

Is Noora sweet?

Yes. Honey and vanilla make it noticeably sweet, with rose and saffron for contrast.

Is Swiss Arabian Noora coming back?

So far, we have found no announcement from Swiss Arabian that it will return. Our version is an eau de parfum in 50 ml or 100 ml.
