Blue Land

Blue Land, inspired by Trussardi Blue Land (2015)

Blue Land starts crisp and green, with tart apple and bitter orange over a mossy note that Trussardi described as stone moss. In the heart a marine accord, the airy sea-breeze effect common to aquatic scents, sits alongside lavender and a prickle of ginger. Further down the scent turns drier, with vetiver and cashmere wood (a smooth, musky synthetic wood note). Suede gives the finish a supple, faintly leathery texture.

About the original

Trussardi released Blue Land in 2015 as a fresher take on My Land, its 2012 men's woody fougère. The perfumer is usually credited as Alexandra Kosinski. It came in a light blue glass bottle coated in blue leather, in 30, 50 and 100 ml sizes. Blue Land is no longer listed on Trussardi's own perfume pages, and several European retailers now show it as out of stock or unavailable.

Our version

Ours is an independent eau de parfum made to evoke the same character. It is not Trussardi stock, not an official relaunch and not the original formula.

Who it suits

Anyone who found My Land too leathery will see Blue Land as the lighter of the pair. Apple and sea notes make it fresher and more open than its parent, though the suede and vetiver base stops it from smelling purely sporty.

It no longer appears in Trussardi's perfume range, and some retailers list it as out of stock. We have not found a statement from the brand.

How does Blue Land compare with My Land?

Blue Land (2015) was launched as a fresher version of My Land (2012). It moves away from My Land's leather and violet towards green apple, sea notes and ginger, while keeping a woody, suede-edged base. We make both.

Is Trussardi Blue Land coming back?

So far, we have found no announcement from Trussardi that it will return. Our version is an eau de parfum in 50 ml or 100 ml.
