Pour Femme, inspired by Dolce&Gabbana Pour Femme (2012)

Raspberry and mandarin give the opening a fruity lift, with neroli adding freshness. Orange blossom and jasmine soon take the lead, but the scent is really defined by its base. Marshmallow, vanilla and heliotrope create a sweet, powdery cloud, with sandalwood underneath to keep it smooth. Dolce & Gabbana calls it warm and voluptuous.

About the original

When Dolce & Gabbana relaunched the Pour Femme name in 2012, it chose a new composition rather than the 1992 red-cap scent. Jean-Pierre Mary and Martine Pallix, the same perfumers who made the original, created it. Now Smell This found it nothing like the 1992 version, describing it as pretty with a fruity twist. It remains on sale in Dolce & Gabbana's Classic range.

Our version

Ours is an independent eau de parfum made to evoke the same character. It is not Dolce & Gabbana stock, not an official relaunch and not the original formula.

Who it suits

Fans of marshmallow and vanilla will find this comforting. The base is unmistakably gourmand, so a crisp, dry scent it is not.

Is this the same as the 1992 red cap?

No. The 1992 scent is an aldehydic floral with carnation. This 2012 Pour Femme is sweet and powdery with marshmallow. We make both.
