Infusion D'Homme, inspired by Prada Infusion d'Homme (2008)

Infusion d'Homme smells of soap and pressed cotton: iris at its cleanest, set beside neroli, the bitter-orange flower oil that brings a crisp, slightly green citrus note. Mandarin adds a little sweetness at the very start. Galbanum, vetiver and cedar keep the heart from going cosmetic. Benzoin and frankincense sit low in the base, giving a faint resinous warmth rather than smoke.

About the original

Daniela Andrier created Infusion d'Homme for Prada in 2008 as the men's counterpart to Infusion d'Iris, basing it on the soap version of the women's scent. Prada promoted it with short films by nine international directors, edited by Pietro Scalia. A launch piece in Wallpaper described the two Infusions as sharing their notes in different proportions. It no longer appears on Prada Beauty's men's pages and is reported to have been dropped around 2015. Infusion d'Iris Cèdre (2015) is often cited as its successor, though it is a differently named fragrance.

Our version

Ours is an independent eau de parfum made to evoke the same character. It is not Prada stock, not an official relaunch and not the original formula.

Who it suits

Picture a white shirt straight after a shower, which is close to how Osmoz described the original. Iris lovers who want the note clean and soapy rather than dark will find it here, while anyone wanting spice or sweetness will find little of either.

No. Infusion d'Iris Cèdre (2015) is often described as its successor, but it is a separate fragrance with a different name.

How does it relate to Infusion d'Iris?

It was made as the men's counterpart to Infusion d'Iris, built from the soap version of that scent, so the two share an iris and neroli core.

Is Prada Infusion D'Homme coming back?

So far, we have found no announcement from Prada that it will return. Our version is an eau de parfum in 50 ml or 100 ml.
