Infusion D'Amande, inspired by Prada Infusion d'Amande (2015)

The almond here is the bitter kind, closer to marzipan than to toasted nuts. Heliotrope, a small flower that smells of almond and powder, rounds the effect, and anise adds a faint liquorice spice. Tonka and musk keep everything near the skin. Prada calls it a 'second-skin' fragrance, and it behaves like one, hushed rather than loud.

About the original

Daniela Andrier composed Infusion d'Amande with Miuccia Prada for the 2015 relaunch of Les Infusions, when the collection became permanent and gained three new scents. Prada markets it as unisex. Since the Prada licence moved to L'Oréal in 2021 the line has been repackaged, and the current official description (bergamot, star anise, almond, sandalwood and musks) differs slightly from the 2015 note list. Prada still sells it.

Our version

Ours is an independent eau de parfum made to evoke the same character. It is not Prada stock, not an official relaunch and not the original formula.

Who it suits

It sits well with people who like skin scents and powdery textures. Sweetness stays moderate, and the anise is noticeable in the opening, which may not suit everyone.

Anise and bitter almond come first, a little spicy and nutty.

Heliotrope brings a powdery, floral roundness to the almond.

Tonka and musk finish it, smooth and close.

Is Infusion d'Amande sweet?

Only mildly. It is powdery and musky rather than sugary, with bitter almond and heliotrope in the lead.

Is it for women or men?

Prada markets it as unisex. We list it with our women's perfumes, and anyone can wear it.

Has Prada changed Infusion d'Amande?

The current packaging is newer and Prada's description now lists bergamot, star anise, almond, sandalwood and musks. We have not been able to confirm whether the formula itself changed.

Inside the EU, delivery is free on orders of €49 or more. Below that it is a flat €4.99. Outside the EU, delivery is a flat €4.99 on every order. We send every order in 1 to 2 working days.
