Infusion De Fleur D'Oranger, inspired by Prada Infusion de Fleur d'Oranger (2015)

Neroli comes first, the distilled oil of bitter orange flowers, with a green, slightly bitter citrus freshness. Orange blossom follows and becomes the core, fuller and more floral, though Prada keeps it airy by blending it with musks. Jasmine and sandalwood lend the drydown a little body. The result smells more like freshly washed linen than a sun-heated flower.

About the original

Daniela Andrier first composed Infusion de Fleur d'Oranger in 2009 as a limited 'ephemeral' edition, on sale for about four months. Prada brought it back in 2015 as a permanent part of Les Infusions de Prada, and that version is the one this scent follows. Prada now presents it as a unisex floral citrus in an orange-tinted bottle with a Saffiano cap.

Our version

Ours is an independent eau de parfum made to evoke the same character. It is not Prada stock, not an official relaunch and not the original formula.

Who it suits

Clean-scent fans will find a lot to like here, as it reads polished and uncomplicated. It is airy rather than heady, with the musk doing much of the work. The soapy musk is pronounced, and some wearers find it flat after the lively opening.

It follows the 2015 version, the permanent one in Les Infusions de Prada. The 2009 original was a limited edition sold for a few months.
