La Nuit Tresor Musc Diamant, inspired by Lancôme La Nuit Trésor Musc Diamant (2019)

Raspberry comes first, tart and fruity against the green edge of violet leaf. Within minutes the fruit melts into a rose, freesia and jasmine bouquet blended so closely that no single flower stands out. White musk sits under every stage, giving a clean, slightly hazy finish instead of the darker mood of the original La Nuit Trésor. Almond and vanilla sweeten the base without turning it into dessert.

About the original

Lancôme released Musc Diamant in January 2019 as a flanker of La Nuit Trésor, composed by Christophe Raynaud, Amandine Clerc-Marie and Honorine Blanc. The brand described it as a floriental halo and presented it in the familiar diamond-shaped flacon, here in iridescent white-violet glass. It is a separate scent from the original La Nuit Trésor eau de parfum and from the Nude and Dentelle de Roses versions. Musc Diamant no longer appears on Lancôme's own sites in France, the UK or the US.

Our version

Ours is an independent eau de parfum made to evoke the same character. It is not Lancôme stock, not an official relaunch and not the original formula.

Who it suits

Fans of musky florals with a fruity start will find it easy to get on with. It is sweet, though lighter and less dark than the original La Nuit Trésor. White musk carries the whole composition, so it is worth knowing how that note behaves on your skin.

The opening pairs raspberry with violet leaf, the fruit bright and sweet, with white musk already present underneath.

Damask rose, freesia and jasmine make up the heart. These florals stay blurred and blended, more a clean petal impression than a defined bouquet.

Drydown brings white musk, sandalwood and almond, with vanilla and a little patchouli for depth. It stays pale and smooth to the end.

Is La Nuit Trésor Musc Diamant discontinued?

It no longer appears on Lancôme's official sites in France, the UK or the US, and some retailers list it as out of stock. We have found no official statement from Lancôme.

How does it differ from the original La Nuit Trésor?

The original is darker. Musc Diamant wraps raspberry and rose in white musk, so it reads lighter and cleaner.

Is Lancôme La Nuit Tresor Musc Diamant coming back?

So far, we have found no announcement from Lancôme that it will return. Our version is an eau de parfum in 50 ml or 100 ml.
