La Nuit Tresor

La Nuit Tresor, inspired by Lancôme La Nuit Trésor Eau de Parfum (2015)

La Nuit Trésor begins with raspberry and lychee, juicy and slightly syrupy, cut with a little bergamot. At the centre is rose, presented by Lancôme as a black rose, paired with frankincense. As it settles, Tahitian vanilla and the lychee praline accord make it plainly sweet, but papyrus and patchouli pull it back towards something resinous and dry. That push and pull between sugar and smoke is what defines it.

About the original

Lancôme launched La Nuit Trésor in February 2015 as a flanker of Trésor (1990). Christophe Raynaud and Amandine Clerc-Marie composed it, and the brand presented it as a gourmand love potion built around a black rose and Tahitian vanilla orchid. Penélope Cruz fronted the campaign, in a film directed by Rob Marshall. Several flankers have since extended the line, among them À la Folie, Musc Diamant and Nude.

Our version

Ours is an independent eau de parfum made to evoke the same character. It is not Lancôme stock, not an official relaunch and not the original formula.

Who it suits

Its natural setting is after dark, at dinners and nights out. The sweetness is strong, and the incense runs a smoky thread through it that some people love and others find heavy.

Is La Nuit Trésor the same as Trésor?

No. Trésor (1990) is a powdery rose and apricot scent, while La Nuit Trésor (2015) is a much sweeter gourmand built on dark rose, vanilla and incense. We make both.

Is La Nuit Trésor smoky?

Mildly. Frankincense and papyrus give it a resinous, dry undertone beneath the vanilla, though sweetness still leads.
