Emporio Armani She, inspired by Emporio Armani She (1998)

Pear and citrus open it gently, a watery fruitiness that clears quickly. Heliotrope then sets the tone: a flower that smells of almond and powder, often compared to marzipan or face powder. Jasmine adds petals, while cardamom and angelica bring a faint herbal spice. The base of cedar, white musk, amber, vanilla and almond is smooth and comforting.

About the original

Emporio Armani launched this fragrance in 1998 under the names Lei, Elle and She depending on the market, with Daniela Andrier, Alain Astori and Carlos Benaim credited. At the end of 2020 Armani relaunched it as Emporio Armani She, working with the same creators and switching to packaging with less plastic. It is on sale today through Armani's official UK site. Armani's own note list is shorter, naming heliotrope, pear, white musk and cedarwood.

Ours is an independent eau de parfum made to evoke the same character. It is not Giorgio Armani stock, not an official relaunch and not the original formula.

Who it suits

People who reach for powdery, cosy scents on grey days will understand it quickly. It is gentle and close to the skin, never loud. If almond or heliotrope powder reminds you of make-up, this may feel too cosmetic.

Lightly. Heliotrope and almond give the heart and base a soft, marzipan-like powder.
